John Mayer “Where the Light Is” trailer
Mr. Mayer has a new DVD coming out on July 1st. I’m excited. Music photographer turned film director, Danny Clinch, captures Mayer at a concert in Los Angeles. As you’ll see in the trailer below, we get to see the blues side, the acoustic side and the pop-folk side of John.
I’ve only seen him perform once. It was in NYC and I took my little sister for her Christmas present. I was a little selfish though bc the gig was at Webster Hall and he was playing his blues stuff. It was impressive, and now his live disc with his trio, Try!, is among my favorite albums. The song “Another Kind of Green,” from that disc has been keeping me company. Maybe I’ll post that song some other time.
