My Morning Jacket performs “Gideon”
My Morning Jacket. What can ya say about them? Probably that you haven’t heard of them, especially if you are from the Upstate NY area. Well friends, have no fear, I’m hear to hip you to them.
They are a rock band from Louisville, KY that pulls influences from indie, southern, and country rock. I caught them at the music festival Bonnaroo a couple years back and I was left in awe. The lead singer, Jim James, has an amazing voice. Add that voice to having the Boston Pops backing the band up on Letterman and hot damn you are in for a treat.
