MP3 RYAN ADAMS: “Beautiful Sorta”
This morning I am headed out to the lakehouse with my dad. We are gonna put the dock and boat hoist in the water. Whenever I drive out there I always need a soundtrack. In my pre-trip ritual I got to listening to country music….well, country-tinged music by Ryan Adams…specifically from his “Cold Roses” album from a year or two ago.
I like the statement of intent in the beginning of the song. Then the guitar, bass and drums come in and just stomp along.
”When I say, LUV, you better believe me LUV. Gimme a beer.”
